NRL is back
NRL set to return May 28th

When Australia and New Zealand shut their borders and restricted movement around their regions due to Covid-19, it was inevitable that the NRL competition would be forced to postpone.
The New Zealand government announced that we were moving into Alert Level 4 on Wednesday 25 March. This meant the entire country was in lockdown inside their own homes. This meant that the Warriors like the rest of New Zealand, could not go to training, or even to the gym.
However, with the success that both New Zealand and Australia are making with fighting Covid-19 the NRL has announced that they are set to return on May 28th.
The competition has been restructured to be a 20 round season. This leaves 18 rounds still to be played, as we already had 2 rounds of competition before the lock down caused the postponement.
For the competition to take place the players and coaching staff will be placed into a strict isolation from the rest of the public. This means that they won't be able to travel around Australia or to New Zealand.
In order for this to work, all Queensland based Australian teams will be temporarily relocated to Sydney, and the New Zealand Warriors will also have to move from New Zealand to Sydney. Leaving behind their friends and family.
The Warriors left for Australia on Sunday 3rd April at 2pm (NZ time), and landed in Australia at about 4pm (Australia time).
For many fans they will be very pleased to have the NRL back. However, at this stage fans will be unable to attend the games and the players will play to empty stadiums.
Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has asked for all Kiwi’s to get behind them this year, and show your support.

Chapter 1
He arrived at the surface of the water and took a refreshing breath of air. Whilst keeping his body completely still, he glanced around the swamp with large, circular, green eyes.
After several moments, he slipped his enormous body beneath the surface of the water once again, and slithered off in search of food..
Chapter 2
Me and my friends Yzazmin and Misty-rose were on a walk and then we saw a house and a Swamp. so Misty-rose and Yazmin said “did you get our swimming togs so we can go swimming in the swamp” i said “yes but i do not want to swim''. “Ok” said yazmin and misty-rose then misty-rose said “where are we going to get in are togs” i said “ right behind the tree”. “Ok” said Yazmin but before Yazmin went into the swamp she really needed to pee then she went fear away and peed in the swamp , 2 hours later being swimming we wanted to go home because we were getting sunburnt it was so fun swimming with my friends but ween we got home we had tea and then we went to the supermarket and got some lollies and ice cream for dartre but when we were paying yazmin's mum rang and said do not pay because she got us frozen yogurt so we ran out and got in yazmin’s mum’s car we went to the frozen yogurt it was amazing!. Ween we got to my house misty-rose vomited outside then my dad said “i’m going to work and i will be home at 9:00 ok”
Chapter 3
It was 7:00 at night and misty-rose had to go home and azmin was staying at my house for the night. I was so happy that she was staying.
The next morning
It was the next morning and yazmin had no clouse and it was my birthday and mum and yazmin went shopping without me so i was at home with dad but dad got called into work, so i had to go to misty’s house. I was so bored because misty-rose was not there. But when i was going home i went to my mum’s work then it started to snow i was so cold….

In many ways they were so different. When they stood next to each other, the stark contrast between their appearances was plain for all to see.
kKAppearances, however, can be deceiving. They were the best of friends….
My story
The donkey and the dog were very different in many ways but when they were little they were good friends and the dog's owners were moving away. So the donkey was very sad that he was moving. When the owner was getting the dog they wouldn't move so they said we can go without the dog but the kids said no no no no! We are not going without the dog. Then the dog and the donkey were fighting, then the donkey got hurt because he fell on the ground and got cut from a little dranch. his owner had to take him to the vet. He was ok but he had to stay there for 5 days so the dog was not happy. So the dog walked home and he was so sad that the donkey was not there.
the donkey was coming home! The dog was so happy about that. So the donkey owner got home before they had to go get the donkey from the vet, thank you for looking after my donkey “ that will be $100 please” what! Are you a fake doctor...

flooding in Christchurch
WAL about the damage that the rain has done over the past few days in Canterbury.
we have had big puddles and a lot of blocked gutters and drains in Christchurch over the last couple of days.
we have had to try to stay away from the surface flooding. This has been caused by some of the drain being blocked with leaves and the water can't drain away.
the flood has caused sewage and other pollution to overflow and now a lot of the water is contaminated. if you come in contact with this polluted water you must shower yourself and wash your clothes.
some schools have been damaged and had to work in the hall. some of the power cells have been flooded and damaged. there have been evacuation from some houses
the rivers have broken their banks and there has also been strong gusts of wind.
